Fantastic Sunday Roast and Dog-Friendly Stay!

fresh dishprofessional staffdated room
The Sunday roast was the best I have ever had. Every dish tasted fresh. My husband enjoyed a generous portion of mixed meats.. He raved about the delicious taste. I also loved the attentive and professional staff. The hotel is very dog-friendly. There was even a doggy pack with a pet blanket and poo bags!
The room was a bit dated, a little disappointing. I also found that the room wasn't quite living up to its 'superior' room billing.
Location

The hotel is situated in a very quiet area with ample free parking. This spot is quite convenient.. Perfect for a relaxing stay away from the motorway. I was really pleased.

the room was a good size. it was well furnished. i found the breakfast to be excellent with a wide choice. i saw a large gym with equipment for use by guests in the building.
my room was fairly roomy, but it was not quite living up to its 'superior' room billing. it was right next to the lift, lots of noise. dinner was a bit disappointing, luke warm. it suggested it had been hanging about for a bit.

awesome golden wedding celebration!

friendly staffdelicious foodcomfortable roomnoise disturbance
We held our golden wedding celebration at this lovely place and it was superb. the staff was very friendly and accommodating, adapting to our needs and those of our guests. It was a good experience (i really loved the atmosphere). we had afternoon tea followed by a barbecue buffet for around 90 guests and the food was delicious. several members of our party stayed overnight and found the rooms comfortable and clean.
my daughter experienced some disturbances during her stay. she was woken by cleaners outside her door and also by noise in the corridor during the night. i think this could have been handled with a bit more consideration ' rest.
